Dr. Doneisha Dodd

Naturopath, Health Consultant & Health Educator

My goal is to offer transformational care to women who value their health and want to make a lifelong investment in their lives. I missed the opportunity to help one of the most important women in my life. My grandma died when I was 10 and I often wish that she was still here. Growing up without her was hard for me and sometimes I wonder what life would be like if she was still around. I don’t want others to lose loved ones because of inaccessibility to care or ignorance. I want to help women to see that the best investment they can make is in their health.

I would always get asked about natural remedies for different conditions even while I was still in school and I wanted to create a resource that people can access this information. I created The Health Collective which is a database that provides information on natural remedies, hydrotherapy, poultices, botanical medicine and other health promoting tips that anyone can use at home. It is a monthly membership that gives you access numerous articles on health and healthful living.

I also want to offer a Women’s Health Retreat where women can unwind, recharge and experience the benefits of putting their health first.

I want to create a set of women’s health courses for women who are not able to afford Naturopathic Care or who are outside of Ontario. This would be provided online through videos and written material where women can learn at their own pace and implement strategies to alleviate their symptoms.
